Phew! I made it! I officially graduated yesterday, lots of pomp and circumstance at the Masonic Center near my old house on Nob Hill.

My research aims to situate the emergent field of neogeography within the larger historical contexts of cartography, new media theory, and cultural studies, with the intent to better understand the social and cultural implications of this visual phenomenon.
